Gingerbread Molasses Cookie Dough

Gingerbread Molasses Cookie Dough

October 9, 2012 - Fearlessly Archived - Still a fun read, price & availability may have changed.

With this edition of the Fearless Flyer filled with visions of pumpkins, the inclusion of Trader Joe's Gingerbread Molasses Cookie Dough is meant to prime your palate for what comes later in autumn, leading your taste buds into winter.

Gingerbread Molasses Cookie Dough is fresh, refrigerated cookie dough, pre-portioned into perfectly sized "disks" that bake into perfectly sized, richly flavored cookies. The dough is made with the finest ingredients, including brown sugar, real eggs, and real vanilla extract. They get their subtle spiciness from real ginger, molasses, cloves, and cinnamon. (We get our subtle spiciness from too much caffeine and a lack of adequate sleep.) A quick 15 minutes in a 350º oven gets you chewy, palate-pleasing cookies you can serve with coffee, tea, hot cocoa, or even ice cream. Bake one or two at a time or bake all 12 at once – since the dough is already portioned into "disks," you can bake what you need and save the rest for another time.

We're selling each 14 ounce package of 12 cookie "disks" for $2.99 – that's about 25¢ a cookie, a great value, no matter how you crumble it. You'll find these in our refrigerated case.
