Fruit and Nut and Other Stuff Crisps
Because our everyday Crisps are customer favorites, we thought it prudent to introduce a holiday version – and what better flavor than one loosely styled after classic Christmas Bread loaded with fruits and nuts?
Our supplier sources quality ingredients directly from growers, mixing up a wheat-flour batter that includes: almonds, dried apricots, dried cherries, dried cranberries, flaxseeds, poppy seeds, and orange oil. Each Crisp has been baked twice – the second baking is what really achieves the crispiness these Crisps are known (and named) for. The resulting dark-golden-brown Crisps display artful cross-sections of nuts, seeds, and fruit. Every bite is crispy and crunchy – often contrasted with pleasantly chewy, dried fruit. Fruit & Nuts (and Other Stuff) Crisps are complemented well by a spread of Fromage Pavé, or work nicely as fancy “croutons” crumbled over salad.
A 5.3 ounce box of Trader Joe’s Fruit & Nuts (and Other Stuff) Crisps is $3.99 – available in limited quantities over the holidays.
