Chocolate Chip Panettone
In the spirit of turning traditions upside down, we presented Trader Joe’s Chocolate Chip Panettone for the first time last year. We took the legendary Italian Christmas cake, removed the candied fruit pieces and replaced them with rich chocolate chips. It’s back again this year, with a few changes we think you’ll enjoy.
First, our Chocolate Chip Panettone can now be found in the traditional panettone box, instead of the tin of yesteryear. Even more exciting than this packaging change, though, is the value: we’ve lowered the retail from $5.99 to $4.49! If that value doesn’t put you in the holiday, panettone-eating spirit, we don’t know what will.
Yes, even though we're offering a better value, you’ll still find the same fabulous product (and at the same 17.6 ounce weight!). Chocolate Chip Panettone has us rethinking our allegiances to the tried-and-true candied fruit variety. Pull a hunk off and snack on it whenever it feels right. You can slice it and put it in the toaster. You can turn it into French toast. No matter how you enjoy it, you will enjoy it.
