It’s Sedimentary, My Dear Cookie!
Last year, we developed an only-at-Trader Joe’s cookie mix. It took us several months to come up with a cookie-in-a-jar mix that we truly admired. We tried many, and many were underwhelming, but one stood far above the rest – both for its tastiness and for the great value at which we could offer it. That mix is the mix that can be found in a jar of It’s Sedimentary, My Dear Cookie!
The catchy name of this mix, chosen by a clever customer in our first ever product naming contest, is a testament to the archaeological construct of the mix – layers upon layers of ingredients, meticulously measured, ready to mix with egg, butter and water to create cookies of historical, practically geological significance!
Thanks to its lovely Mason jar packaging, you can see the baking ingredients up close. Flour, sugar, brown sugar, oat flakes, candy coated chocolate drops, peanut butter chips, graham cracker crumbs, and a bit of ground coffee for added richness… The cookies are extraordinary, my dear reader, and the mix comes at the extraordinarily good price of $4.99 for each 25.1 ounce jar. It’s Sedimentary, My Dear Cookie! is only around for the holiday season, which, in archaeological terms, is no time at all.
