VINTJS Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc
November 6th, 2017—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.
Would you think less of us if we told you the inspiration for the name of this wine label, VINTJS, came while sitting in traffic, looking at license plates? It’s a silly play on words, placed on wines that aren’t silly at all. The VINTJS label is specifically for wines of a certain pedigree whose producers wish to remain anonymous.
VINTJS Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc comes to us from a certifiably super winery in the Napa Valley. We’ve been fortunate to work with this winery, on this particular offering, for about nine years now. They know exactly what we – and our customers – are looking for in a Napa Sauvignon Blanc, and once again, this one over delivers in every way. It’s a pale-straw-hued wine with lime zest, tangerine, and guava notes, mineral-rich undertones, and a crisp, dry finish. It’s particularly pleasant with chèvre and fresh fruit, or a whole roasted chicken with Herbes de Provence.
Year after year, we continue to be impressed with both the wine and the terrific value it represents. You might expect to pay 10 dollars or more for a wine of this quality. But not at Trader Joe’s. We’re selling each 750ml bottle of VINTJS Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc 2016 for $6.99*.
*VINTJS Napa Sauvignon Blanc is currently available in Trader Joe's stores where wine is sold. It is $6.99 plus tax unless otherwise noted here: AL, KY, NH, ME, GA, FL: $7.99. Alcohol availability & price may vary due to state laws, taxes, shipment fees & other such stuff.
