Kennebunkport Brewing Co. Pumpkin Ale

Kennebunkport Brewing Co. Pumpkin Ale

November 6th, 2017—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

As has become tradition at Trader Joe’s during Pumpkin Season, now is the time when Kennebunkport Brewing Company Pumpkin Ale is available in our stores. Each year, starting in early September, we reintroduce KBC Pumpkin, and each year we encounter two distinct scenarios. The first… customers who are so thankful it’s back and stock up. Number two… customers who’ve never before tried KBC Pumpkin, are intrigued, buy a 6-pack, and then return a few days later for another. Both scenarios remind us of exactly why Pumpkin Season makes us so happy.

Whether you fall into scenario number two or one, allow us to whet your whistle. KBC Pumpkin Ale is a golden-amber colored ale with hints of pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg – as crisp and refreshing as the season itself. It’s kind of like pumpkin pie – if pumpkin pie were beer – without the sweetness. (You can add a bit of sweet with a cinnamon-sugar rim on your glass!) The seasonal seasonings deliver the promised profile, which enhances the overall ale experience. As with all Pumpkin Season specialties, this beer is available only through the autumn, and only while we can keep it in stock – demand is high and supplies are limited due to the brewery’s limited production capacity. Enjoy it while you can, because when it’s gone, it won’t be back until next year, when you can reasonably rely on finding it on our shelves once again.

We’re selling KBC Pumpkin Ale in 6-packs of 12 ounce cans for $6.99* each, plus deposit where applicable.
