The Vikings who first created breads like our Whole Grain Crispbread spent months at a time on the high seas. That may not be in your plans anytime soon, but we think this Whole Grain Crispbread will be an excellent addition to your everyday diet anyway. In fact, our Crispbread comes from the land of the Vikings (Norway), and is made of seeds, seeds, and more seeds! Specifically, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and flaxseeds. The recipe is rounded out with straightforward ingredients like oat bran and wheat bran, rye flour, spelt bran, and oatmeal. It all adds up to a grand total of 4g of protein and 3g of dietary fiber per single cracker. (No wonder Vikings could live off of these!) They’re mildly salty with a coarse, crumbly texture that yields a gratifying crunch every time you munch. Enjoy them alone or broken into soup. Try them with Hummus or mashed Avocado and a sprinkle of freshly ground pepper or Chile Lime Seasoning.
