Organic Teriyaki Seaweed Snacks

Organic Teriyaki Seaweed Snacks

June 5th, 2017—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

In the beginning, there are sheets of seaweed (also known as nori) organically grown in South Korea’s Jangheung Bay. After harvest, the organic nori is dried and roasted with organic sesame and sunflower oils, flavored with a gluten free teriyaki seasoning, then cut into strips. That’s it. That’s the magic that makes these unassuming little snacks with an Asian influence so mesmerizing; the magic that gives them their light, airy crunch and their intriguing, nutty flavor.

The magic doesn’t stop there, though. Oh, no. At that stage, the magic has just begun. You see, each individual package has only 30 calories. That’s 30. Not 300; 30. And it’s a satisfying package, not just a couple of little bites. Seaweed is known for its umami flavor profile. Here, in this Organic Roasted Teriyaki version, umami meets sweet & salty and produces a powerhouse flavor delivery system, presented as simple, crunchy sheets of nori.

We’re selling Trader Joe’s Organic Roasted Teriyaki Seaweed Snacks in a six pack of .17 ounce (five grams), 30-calories packages. The individual packs are perfect for purses, briefcases, lunchboxes, or desk drawers. We’re selling each six pack for $3.49, every day.
