Smoke House Pulled Pork

Smoke House Pulled Pork

March 20, 2017—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

For Trader Joe’s Smoke House Pulled Pork, we’ve partnered with a smoke-house/barbecue supplier that’s been making Texas barbecue since 1953. They slow cook pork shoulder for six hours, until it’s tantalizingly tender, and pair it with a house-made smoky, Texas-style BBQ sauce. The flavor is bold & smoky, just a little spicy, with a hint of sweet. In other words, this is some full-flavored barbecue!

Longing for summer barbecues? Serve our Smoke House Pulled Pork as the main course for dinner and you can conjure up a cookout without venturing outside. Serve it on sandwiches or even on a salad. Texas BBQ tradition demands white bread; in Alabama they like pulled pork on their nachos; and we’re partial to pairing this Pulled Pork with the Buttermilk Biscuits from our refrigerated case. You could even wrap it in Organic Romaine Hearts to make BBQ Pork Lettuce Wraps. Trust us here; this works. We’re selling each 16 ounce package of Smoke House Pulled Pork for $5.99. You’ll find it in our refrigerated case.
