But when you look at the ingredient listings on the cups, you’ll see that it’s really just oatmeal, the way you’d make it at home if you had time to make oatmeal from scratch before heading out for school or work in the morning. Because we’ve done all the heavy lifting for you (well, maybe not heavy lifting, but mixing for sure), you can have a hearty, nourishing, wholesome cup of oatmeal in just a couple of minutes. And it comes in its own serving vessel!
The handy Trader Joe’s Tart Cherry, Chia & Pumpkin Seed Oatmeal and Trader Joe’s Strawberry Raspberry Oatmeal both come in single-serve size cups. You just peel back the lid, add water and heat (or add hot water and stir). No need to provide a bowl – it comes in its own bowl. We love that! Both varieties are flavored with wholesome ingredients. The Cherry, Chia, Pumpkin Seed features actual dried cherries, chia & pumpkin seeds, with just a smidge of salt. Strawberry Raspberry contains freeze dried berries, brown sugar, and a bit of cinnamon. Both have six grams of fiber and nine grams of protein in every cup, with six grams of sugar or fewer. If you have time to eat at home, by all means, do. But if you’re on-the-go, these cups were created for your active lifestyle.
