La Promenade Rosé Côtes de Provence

La Promenade Rosé Côtes de Provence

August 15th, 2016—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

Rosé is having a moment. That moment has actually been happening for some time, and as the moment gets longer, the quality of the wines keeps getting better. It could be that as wine drinkers embrace Rosé more and more vigorously, winemakers are putting more and more emphasis into these wines. Whatever the reason, the result is a richness of opportunity in the world of Rosé wines. This is especially true of Rosés from France, and especially especially true of La Promenade Rosé 2015 Côtes de Provence.

La Promenade Rosé hails from the esteemed Côtes de Provence region, made with grapes grown in hillside vineyards around the villages of Cabasse sur Issole and Flassans sur Issole. The winemakers have crafted a delicate Rosé that’s floral and fruit-forward, elegantly dry and crisp, with refreshing flavors of red berries and subtle citrus notes. We’ve tasted an impressive number of Provençal Rosés, and based on that tasting (someone has to do it!), we can say without hesitation that La Promenade is one of the best values we’ve seen in quite a long time. We can’t imagine you’ll find a better tasting Rosé anywhere near our price of $9.99*.

*La Promenade Rose is currently available in Trader Joe's stores where wine is sold. It is $9.99 plus tax. Alcohol availability & price may vary due to state laws, taxes, shipment fees & other such stuff.
