Take heed, wine-loving friends: there's more to Portuguese wines than Port. Much more. We love the rich, robust nature of a good Port (and we have a good selection in our stores); we also know that there are plenty of other good wines produced in Portugal, perhaps most famously in the region that gives Vinho Verde its name. Located in the northwest of Portugal, Vinho Verde is a region with a rich winemaking history, and home to our Espiral Wines.
Espiral Vinho Verde is a young, peppy, refreshing wine made with grapes exclusively grown in this esteemed region. It's very lightly sparkling, with flavors of green apple and melon. It's an excellent aperitif, especially on a warm, sunny day. Espiral Vinho Rosé takes the fresh, vibrant flavors of the Vinho Verde region and turns them into a rosé. Fruity but not sweet, the wine's pomegranate hue hints at its ripe berry flavors and balanced acidity. Try it with light salads, goat cheese, or grilled Silverbrite Salmon Fillets.
We're selling each 750ml bottle of Espiral Vinho Verde for $4.99* and Espiral Vinho Rosé for $4.99*, every day.
