December 1, 2014—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.
This is not run-of-the-mill sweetener. Rather, these are distinctive honeys collected in gentle ways that preserve the pure flavors and original, traceable pollens in each. Tupelo Honey is mild and buttery, collected in Southwest Georgia & Northwest Florida in early spring. Its unique flavor profile makes it an excellent alternative to sugar; it works well in baking applications. Acacia Honey is harvested from Italian Black Locust Trees. Its velvety texture and hint of vanilla on the tongue make it an excellent sweetener for beverages, and a natural companion to hard cheeses. Orange Blossom Honey, harvested from orange groves in Mexico, features the floral side of citrus, and makes an excellent spread for biscuits and bagels, as well as a perfect partner for a cup of black tea.
We're selling our Honey Collection, a minimalist-design package of all three varieties (each in a five ounce jar), for $8.99, while they last. This is a special holiday purchase, great for gift-giving, even if that gift is to yourself.
