Heat, Enjoy, Repeat. Often.
It has become our quest to have pumpkin represented on as many shelves and sections of our store as possible. Each year, we get closer to our apparent goal of total pumpkin domination. We're not there yet, but we have succeeded in creating a Joe's where pumpkins reign supreme for a brief, beautiful span of time each autumn. It is our pumpkin-fueled drive that led us to develop Trader Joe's Pumpkin Soup, now making it's third annual appearance on our shelves. This is a quick & easy, smooth & pumpkin-y soup that you can pour from the box, heat a bit on the stove or in the microwave and enjoy in mere minutes. It's made with Wisconsin-grown pumpkins and accented with warm spices. Top it with a dollop of sour cream or crème fraîche, or give it an ingenious, Indian twist with some coconut milk (or coconut cream) and curry powder.
Like much of our pumpkin collection, Pumpkin Soup will be around during Pumpkin Season, and then gone until the Great Pumpkin arises once more (if all goes as planned, that'll be next year). If you're a fan, remember, "(s)he who hesitates is without Pumpkin Soup". We’re selling each 17.6 ounce box for $1.79, a price that makes stocking up affordable, and the same price we've had since we introduced this Soup in 2012. You'll find it on our grocery shelves.
