Cinnamon Schoolbook Cookies

Cinnamon Schoolbook Cookies August 18, 2014—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

Trader Joe's Cinnamon Schoolbook Cookies are big, block letters and numbers, about an inch high, cleverly disguised as cinnamon-flavored cookies.  They actually taste a bit like cinnamon graham crackers, with a crunchier, sturdier texture.  With only nine calories a cookie, they taste much more indulgent than they really are. They're good with milk, coffee, tea, or ice cream, and it's quite fun to use them to make words and then eat them. It's like edible Mad Libs. We've been selling Cinnamon Schoolbook Cookies since 1998, and 16 years later, these kosher certified crisps are still made with the same recipe and still a fantastic value, at $2.79 for each 16 ounce tub.
