Whether it's back to school, back to regular hours at work, or a simple need to get out of a lunchtime rut, Trader Joe's Uncured Sliced Roast Beef and Uncured Sliced Black Forest Ham can save you from a mediocre midday meal. Let's start with Roast Beef. Our supplier marinates the USDA Choice beef for at least eight hours, then slow cooks the roast, ensuring moist, tender slices. It's excellent on a cold sandwich, and really shines when you heat it a bit - the heat highlights the flavors, and especially when combined with a slice of cheese (Cheddar? Muenster?) and perhaps a schmear of mustard, it makes a stellar sandwich.

Our Uncured Sliced Black Forest Ham is slow smoked with real apple and hickory wood chips. It's an old-fashioned ham, sweetened with molasses and turbinado sugar.  It's perfect for a ham sandwich, excellent in an omelet, delicious cut into strips and tossed into a salad.  We're selling eight ounce packages of Black Forest Ham for $3.49, and Roast Beef for $4.99. You'll find them in our refrigerated case.
