Yellow Tomatoes on the Vine

Yellow Tomatoes on the Vine August 18, 2014—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

Yellow tomatoes are notoriously difficult.  They can go from ripe to OMG-that's-mushy in the blink of an eye.  And despite their vibrant hue, they very rarely offer the bold flavor of their red brethren.  Until now.  Our supplier has been working with various yellow tomato varieties for years, cross-breeding and hybridizing (not genetically modifying) to get all the elements in alignment.  Our Yellow Tomatoes on the Vine are the result of that effort.  They're firm, flavorful, and juicy - the trinity of tomato terrificness!

Trader Joe's Yellow Tomatoes on the Vine are greenhouse grown, with the aid of busy bumble bees for pollination and ladybugs for pest management.  Use them absolutely anywhere you'd use tomatoes - their bold, bright color will add perky personality.  We're selling them at the bold, bright price of $2.49* for each 10 ounce package of about eight Yellow Tomatoes.  You'll find them in our fresh produce section.
