Strawberry Preserves

Strawberry PreservesAugust 18, 2014—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

We call these our "fresh pack" preserves - they're made with freshly picked Grade A strawberries from Southern California, within days of harvest. The ingredient list is short and sweet - berries, sugar, lemon juice, pectin - pretty much what you'd use if you made preserves at home.  These Strawberry Preserves are perfect on toast, bagels, or as an alternative to syrup on pancakes & waffles.  Mix a spoonful into plain yogurt or a bowl of oatmeal, or add a dollop atop a bowl of ice cream.  Delicious!

We're selling each 17.5 ounce jar of Strawberry Preserves made with Fresh Strawberries for $2.99, a terrific price for fresh-berry preserves.  Fields and fields of fresh strawberries are grown specifically for these Preserves, and since the harvest was recent, right now we're in fantastic supply. You'll find them in our grocery aisle.
