Gluten Free Blueberry Muffins

GF Blueberry MuffinsAugust 18, 2014—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

These Muffins are made exclusively for us, using a blend of rice flour, potato starch, soy flour, and almond meal in place of wheat flour. We found a phenomenal gluten free bakery who is supplying these Muffins for our bakery section across the country - they're baked fresh, then frozen until they reach our stores, where we thaw them.  They're light and cake-y, delightfully moist. That moist texture is the result of a couple of secret (and surprising) ingredients: applesauce and mayonnaise.  They taste neither applesauce-y nor mayonnaise-y; just super moist. They're also loaded with wild blueberries, bursting with big blueberry flavor. Enjoy them for breakfast, brunch, snacktime, or anytime. And if you're not a "gluten-free" eater, try them anyway - they're really good!  At a really good price.  We're selling each 12 ounce package of four Gluten Free Blueberry Muffins for $3.99, every day. They're in our bakery section.
