Seasoned King Salmon

Seasoned King Salmon on a Cedar PlankJune 9, 2014—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

Trader Joe's Seasoned King Salmon on a Cedar Plank is just that - a seasoned, boneless fillet of King salmon, perfectly positioned on a pre-soaked plank of cedar (from a sustainably managed resource), frozen and ready for the grill. Our supplier leaves the skin on one side, then seasons the fish with lemon peel, salt, pepper, thyme, and a butter-based sauce.  It's flash-seared to hold in moisture, but the inside remains raw, ready to cook.  When you get it home, you just pop it on the grill, in the oven, or even in the microwave.  You can cook it from frozen to great result, or thaw it overnight for faster cook time.  The per-pound price is the weight of the fish, not including the plank.

*Trader Joe's Seasoned King Salmon on a Cedar Plank is available only in our Pacific Northwest stores (Washington, Oregon, and Idaho).
