VINTJS Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel

January 8th—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

The Dry Creek Valley AVA (American Viticultural Area) lies northwest of the town of Healdsburg in California's Sonoma County.  The region, with over 9,000 acres of vineyards, boasts more than 140 years of grape-growing history, and is home to some of the world's most sought-after Zinfandel.

VINTJS Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel came to us when one of our longtime winemaking partners found themselves with access to a good amount of premium Zinfandel from a renowned Dry Creek grower.  They offered it to us.  We tasted the wine, and without hesitation, we jumped at the chance.  It's a superb example of Dry Creek Zin, brick red & zesty, with bright notes of raspberry and blackberry, highlighted by toasted almond, licorice, and white pepper notes that lead to a remarkably dry, luscious finish.

VINTJS Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is an excellent wine to serve with your holiday dinners -- it's a good partner to everything from roasted meats to baked pasta dishes like lasagna.  Our quantities are limited, and our price of $7.99 for each 750ml bottle is a steal of a price, so we don't expect it to last too long.

VINTJS Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel is currently available in Trader Joe's stores where wine is sold, and it is $7.99. Alcohol availability & price may vary due to state laws, taxes, shipment fees & other such stuff. (If we could, we would.)
