Angus Strip Loin Steaks

Grass Fed Angus Strip Loin Steaks August 19, 2013—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

Enjoying a steak fresh off the grill on a warm summer evening is one of life's simple pleasures. When that steak is a Trader Joe's Grass Fed Angus Strip Loin Steak, it also becomes one of the most enjoyable. These steaks come from grass fed, free range, certified Angus cattle that are raised on the pristine pastures of New Zealand, where the climate allows for pasture grazing all year long. This results in beautifully marbled steaks that are fabulously flavorful and terrifically tender.

These Grass Fed Angus Strip Loins have less saturated fat than their conventional counterparts, and are also higher in vitamins A & E, as well as Omega-3 Fatty Acids, the 'good fats.' With all these attributes, you're wondering, will the steaks taste good? The answer is a resounding yes! In fact, they'll be delicious with no seasoning at all, a shake of salt & pepper, or whatever special rub you’d like to add. Grass fed beef cooks more quickly than other beef (due to the lower saturated fat), which means that not only will you get a great steak, you'll get it faster than you expected.

We're selling individually-packed Grass Fed Angus Strip Loin Steaks from New Zealand for the excellent price of $10.99 a pound (steaks are typically less than a pound). You'll find them in our freezers.
