Fresh Veggies in a Snap
Trader Joe's Asian Stir Fry is a blend of washed and cut fresh vegetables that you can cook in a wok or skillet with very little effort. Inside the bag is an assortment of fresh vegetables — some you expect, and others you won't find in most stir fry blends: red and green peppers, red and white onions, mushrooms, carrots, broccoli florets, bok choy, bamboo shoots, water chestnuts, snow peas, sugar snap peas and Chinese baby corn. These are fresh, crisp veggies that can be a meal on their own, or combined with chicken, beef, tofu or shrimp for a heartier, protein-heavy feast. Just stir fry over high heat in a little oil (we like grapeseed oil in the wok) until the vegetables reach the desired texture. Mix it up a bit and add your favorite simmer/stir fry sauce.
Trader Joe's Asian Stir Fry is super-simple way to make a healthy, flavorful, Asian-inspired meal in minutes, without breaking the bank. Each 18 ounce clamshell package is $3.99, every day.
