Trader Joe's Creamy Chicken & Poblano Ravioli with Mexican Style Roasted Corn

Perhaps you’ve enjoyed poblano peppers in a chocolate mole sauce, or in chile rellenos—but have you ever had them inside ravioli? Now you can, with a package of Trader Joe’s Creamy Chicken & Poblano Ravioli from our deli section.

We created this unique pasta with one of our trusted ravioli suppliers, starting with a filling made from chunks of breast meat that comes from chickens raised cage-free and fed an all-vegetarian diet with no antibiotics ever. The chicken is paired with plenty of poblanos, giving each bite a fresh-chili flavor, along with some mild heat. Four kinds of cheese (ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan & Romano) fill out the filling, along with heavy cream, and breadcrumbs—all seasoned with oregano, garlic, sea salt, and black pepper.

The pasta pillows that hold all these creamy, savory flavors are made from an egg & Durum-wheat-flour dough that cooks in boiling water to a perfect al dente texture in just 5 to 6 minutes. And, each serrated-edge square has a colorful stripe derived from natural sources—either yellow (turmeric) or green (spinach).

We’re selling eight-ounce packages of about a dozen Trader Joe’s Creamy Chicken Poblano Ravioli for $3.69 each. You’ll find them in our refrigerators every day, with the rest of our fresh pastas.
