RECALL: Potential Foreign Matter (Glass) in Select Bottles of Sierra Nevada Beer

To Our Valued Customers:

We have been alerted by our supplier of Sierra Nevada Beer that select 12-ounce glass bottles are being voluntarily recalled because a packaging flaw may cause a small piece of glass to break off and possibly fall into the bottles. Trader Joe's carried the following potentially affected products in AL, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, ME, MA, MI, MN, MO, NH, NJ, NY, NC, OH, SC, TN, TX, VT, VA, WI:

Sierra Nevada Pale Ale 120516M through 010817M
Sierra Nevada Beer Camp Golden IPA 120516M through 011317M

The affected product was only produced in Mills River, NC and thus contains a brewery code of “M.” Brewery codes of “C” are NOT affected by this recall.

Production Code Example: 

MMDDYY, Plant Code (Mills River), HH:MM

All of the potentially affected product has been removed from sale.

Customers who have purchased any of the packages with the specified production codes are urged to not drink them, and to dispose of them or return them to any Trader Joe's for a full refund.
