Value is one of those words that gets tossed around by marketing people all the time. So it’s easy to forget sometimes that value is about more than just a great price.
So just what do we mean by “Value”? We mean everyday prices on all our products.
That means we don’t have sales. We don’t have gimmicks. We don’t have clubs
to join or special cards to swipe. Just honest prices on terrific products,
every day.
And how do we manage to stock our shelves with such great values?
- We buy direct from suppliers whenever possible, we bargain hard to get the best price, and then pass the savings on to you.
- If an item doesn’t pull its weight in our stores, it goes away to gang way for something else.
- We buy in volume and contract early to get the best prices.
- Most grocers charge their suppliers fees for putting an item on the shelf. This results in higher prices… so we don’t do it.
- We keep our costs low because every penny we save is a penny you save.
As you can imagine, "Value" is a concept we take very seriously. Anyone can
offer a good deal. But delivering a good price and a great product? Now that’s
a sweet deal.
