  • 1 package TJ’s Frozen Ahi Tuna Steaks (about 1 pound)
  • 1 bottle TJ’s Spicy Peanut Vinaigrette
  • 1 package TJ’s Smallish Gems Sweet Lettuce (seasonal) OR TJ’s Romaine Hearts, leaves separated, rinsed, patted dry and chilled in the refrigerator
  • 1/2 cup sliced TJ’s Sugar Snap Peas
  • 1/2 cup diced TJ's Sliced Fresh Del Monte Gold Pineapple Spears
  • 1 TJ’s Valencia Orange, peeled and diced
  • 1 large TJ’s Avocado, diced
  • 1 Tbsp chopped TJ’s Chives
  • 1/4 cup TJ’s Old Fashioned Salted Blister Peanuts
  • 1 can TJ’s Canola Oil Spray

**Note: We have designated 8 to 9 hours for the "cooking" time, which includes defrosting time. The hands-on preparation time is about 30 minutes.** To marinate fish, remove frozen Ahi from packaging and place into a medium baking dish. Pour half the bottle of Spicy Peanut Vinaigrette over steaks, cover dish with plastic wrap and leave in refrigerator 8 hours or overnight, flipping steaks half way through. Alternatively, defrosted steaks can marinate in vinaigrette for 1 hour in the refrigerator prior to preparation. To sear the Ahi, bring a medium frying pan up to medium high to high heat, and coat the bottom of the pan lightly with canola oil spray. Remove and discard excess marinade from fish. Sear the fish for 1-2 minutes on each side until desired doneness. Remove from pan onto a cutting board and slice against the grain into 1/2 inch-thick slices. Arrange tuna slices atop lettuce leaves, then sprinkle with snap peas, pineapple, oranges, avocado, chives and peanuts. Drizzle fresh dressing over each taco and enjoy!
