Brownie Meet Cookie Bars Print Recipe
Preheat oven to 375ºF. Lightly butter or spray a 9x13 pan and line with foil or parchment paper. Soften one package of frozen or refrigerated cookie dough enough so that it can be pressed into the bottom of the pan. Doesn't need to be absolutely flat and even. Bake for about 20 minutes or until starting to brown and edges are beginning to get firm. Remove from oven and cool for about 20 minutes. Cut open brownie pouch and pour over baked cookie dough. Spread somewhat evenly to edges. Once again, perfection is not required. Bake another 20 minutes or so, until edges are set but center will still be soft. Remove from oven, cool and remove from pan. Cut into squares.
