Gluten Free 3 Cheese Pizza
February 4, 2013—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read, price & availability may have changed.
Gluten free pizza has long been one of our most requested products. And for a long time it's just not something we could offer. Why? Simple. We tried and we tried and we tried, but we just couldn't find a gluten free pizza crust that lived up to our standards. Many of them were "good for gluten free," but that wasn't good enough. It's worth mentioning, too, that most of them were outrageously expensive. To recap… not very good, way too expensive. Can you understand our reluctance? We knew that if we were going to offer a gluten free pizza, it had to be good, period. And it had to come at a great price.
Dear customers, we are thrilled to offer Trader Joe's Gluten Free 3 Cheese Pizza. This is a good pizza, made with a bright and flavorful tomato sauce, fresh Roma tomato slices and a blend of three cheeses – Provolone, Mozzarella, and Manchego. It also happens to have a gluten free crust (made with rice, potato and tapioca). If you adhere to a gluten free diet, this is the pizza you've been waiting for, and if you don’t adhere to such a strict eating plan, you'll just enjoy it because it's darn good 'za.
We're selling each 11 ounce Gluten Free 3 Cheese Pizza for $4.99, a phenomenal value for a very delicious pizza. You'll find it in our freezers.
