Trader Ming's Chicken & Vegetable Wonton Soup went through a number of rounds in our tasting panel. Primarily because we kept making it better. We could be accused of tasting and re-tasting and re-tasting just because we liked eating the soup so much. But no one can prove that.  What did we accomplish in all that tasting? We added more vegetables, like sugar snap peas, carrots and green onions, and in bigger pieces than in the originally proposed soup. We added more wontons, too, and that's one of the reasons this soup is so satisfying. Its light taste and low caloric profile (only 220!) belie a supremely sustaining soup. Its price of $2.29 for each 10.75 ounce bowl defies logic.

Utterly logical, though, is its preparation. Remove the bowl from its outer package, peel back the top film just a bit, and add water to the "fill" line on the bowl. Microwave for 4-5 minutes, let it rest for a minute after that, and enjoy a bowl of hot Chicken & Vegetable Wonton Soup. That sounds great right about now, doesn't it? It's in our freezers.
