All Natural Tri-Tip Asada

Trader Joe’s All Natural Tri-Tip Asada comes from cattle that were raised without the use of antibiotics or synthetic hormones. Asada refers to the marinade itself – a lime-based concoction with special blend of natural herbs and spices, that not only seasons the meat; it tenderizes it, too. And Tri-Tip? The triangular shape of this roast from the Bottom Sirloin. Oh, and the Trader Joe’s? That refers to us. And our love of all things delicious, well-priced and made without artificial ingredients.

Take Trader Joe’s All Natural Tri-Tip Asada out of its package and place it on the grill – no further marinating or seasoning is required – and you’ll have perfectly delicious Tri-Tip every time. Or cook the meat in a slow cooker on the low setting, add a cup of water and let it cook for 8-10 hours. Slice it across the grain for a center-of-the-plate presentation or chop it for tacos or burritos.

We’re selling random-weight packages for $7.49 a pound. You’ll find it in our fresh meat case.
