Chickenless Mandarin Orange Morsels

Chickenless Mandarin Orange MorselsFebruary 6, 2012 - Fearlessly Archived - Still a fun read, price & availability may have changed.

Our Mandarin Orange Chicken is so wildly popular we wanted to give our vegetarian customers the chance to experience the same level of deliciousness. This, of course, involved removing "chicken" from the equation. And that involved some tinkering.  You know how we love to tinker… especially when the result is Trader Joe’s Chickenless Mandarin Orange Morsels

The great thing is that if you didn’t know these morsels weren't chicken, you'd probably think they were chicken. And because they're not chicken, but rather a "chicken-y" blend of soy, wheat, ancient grains and veggies, this Asian-inspired entrée is suitable —and quite delectable—for vegetarians. Like our original Mandarin Orange Chicken, this Chickenless version includes a sauce that’s sweet, a little spicy, and perfectly complements the meaty-tasting Morsels. Serve it with rice or noodles and your favorite green veggie for a complete, meat-free meal you can have on the table with very little effort.

We're selling each 9.25 ounce package of Chickenless Mandarin Orange Morsels for $2.99, every day. You'll find it in our freezers.
