The humble radish doesn't get a whole lot of love in the vegetable world, but we think this root veggie deserves a few moments in the spotlight. Trader Joe's Trimmed Radishes take the root to an even higher level - the tops and tails have been trimmed and the radishes themselves (the berries) have been cleaned, making prep on your end so much simpler.
Radishes are rich in ascorbic acid, folic acid, and potassium. They're also a good source of vitamin B6, riboflavin, calcium, magnesium, and copper. Reliably crunchy, radishes are most commonly eaten raw, as snacks, in salads and sandwiches, or on antipasto trays. Their flavor is slightly peppery and pungent, reminiscent of a mild horseradish or wasabi.
