A bold and full-bodied red, Trader Joe's Reserve 2012 Paso Robles Syrah is a luscious example of the quality of Syrah coming out of this Central Coast appellation. Our Reserve labeled wines are known to be excellent examples of their terroir, and this one lives up to its Paso pedigree. Given to warm, sunny days and crisp, cool evenings, Paso Robles is a natural home for Syrah - the temperature fluctuations are key to the development of the grape's intense varietal character.
TJ's Reserve 2012 Paso Robles Syrah is a boon for Syrah lovers. Juicy plum and black cherry flavors, a touch of mocha, and hints of bacon (!) lead to a long, smooth finish. This is a big wine with a not-so-big price. We're selling each 750ml bottle for $9.99* - a phenomenal value that's a good $10 less than you'd pay for similar wine in a different label - for as long as we can keep it in stock.
* TJ’s Reserve 2012 Paso Robles Syrah is currently available in Trader Joe's stores where wine is sold. It is $9.99 plus tax. Alcohol availability & price may vary due to state laws, taxes, shipment fees & other such stuff. (If we could, we would.)
