Goddess Dressing

Goddess DressingAugust 19, 2013—Fearlessly Archived—Still a fun read; price & availability may have changed.

The original Green Goddess Dressing is said to have originated in the dining room of a swanky San Francisco hotel. Our Goddess Dressing originated in the kitchen of our supplier’s founder - not quite so swanky, perhaps, yet a place where many delicious dressings have been created.

The main difference, other than color (ours is not green), between Trader Joe’s Goddess Dressing and some others is that ours is vegan. It derives fresh flavor from chives and parsley, its creaminess from tahini and its signature tang from lemon. TJ's Goddess Dressing never met a bed of greens it didn’t like, and its savory flavor is an excellent complement to the natural sweetness of our   Fully Cooked Beets  ,  but its uses shouldn't be limited to garden-variety salads. Try it on a hot or cold pasta    Farfalle Pasta     salad, or use it as a dipping sauce for anything from freshly-cut veggies to freshly-sliced bread.

We're selling each eight ounce bottle of Goddess Dressing for $2.29. Look for it in our grocery aisle.
