MangiafagioliCannellini White Kidney Beans

Cannellini Beans are so entwined with the culinary landscape of central Italy—minestrone, pasta fagioli, Tuscan tuna salad—the moniker "mangiafagioli" (bean eaters) has become interchangeable with "Tuscans." Tuscan or not, we embrace all those with a hearty passion for pulses!

Fellow mangiafagioli, mangia! Mangia! Bean eaters, feast on this: Trader Joe’'s Cannellini White Kidney Beans are grown in the American Midwest. The large, ivory-hued beans are pre-cooked so they are smooth and firm, with a creamy core and nutty taste. Ready to use right out of the can, they are beautiful in pasta dishes, soups and salads, and make a classic Cannellini spread on toasted bread. As delicious as they are, we also appreciate that they are naturally low in fat and high in protein and fiber, not to mention the fact that they are only 89¢ for a 15 ounce can.
