Feta In Brine. From Denmark.
At Trader Joe's.

In travels throughout Europe, Trader Joe's buyers often saw feta cheese sold in cubes, rather than the blocks and crumbles we've typically featured at Trader Joe's. Among the hallmarks of this presentation was that the cubes were soaked in brine, which brightened the flavor of the cheese and ensured moist, fresh-tasting feta. As much as we love our blocks and crumbles, we knew it was time to make room for some cubes. And so Trader Joe's Danish Feta Cheese Cubes were born.

This is cow's milk feta made for us in Denmark. Inside the tub, the Feta Cheese Cubes are in a basket, which allows the cheese to soak in the brine (a simple blend of water and salt). The basket's handy handles also allow you to easily lift the basket from the tub, allowing the brine to drain so you can take out just what you need, replacing the basket into the brine. This ensures that each cube of Feta will be as fresh-tasting as the first. It's a bit of European tradition combined with a dash of modern convenience, Trader Joe's style.

Enjoy our Feta Cheese Cubes on garden salads, pizzas, pasta salads, in a quiche, or with crackers and fruit. We're selling each 7.1 ounce (drained weight) tub for $2.99, every day. You'll find them in our cheese case.
