These rare, single-bean coffee cherries are collected from a crop of Arabica beans, cultivated on the slopes of Colombia's second highest peak, the Nevado del Huila volcano. At approximately 6,500 feet above sea level, the coffee thrives in the humus rich soils, alongside plantains, citrus and other agriculture. Hand-selected, washed and sun dried, we give the small-but-mighty beans a medium roast, highlighting their smooth, nutty taste, bright acidity and clean finish. Because Peaberries are limited harvests, by nature, they are prized, but that doesn't mean high priced. Oh, no. We've secured the current crop of Colombian Peaberries for $6.99 for each 13 ounce can.
